Abstract:
High-resolution X-ray CT imaging can provide detailed structural and functional information about the respiratory system. We describe a software system to facilitate quantitative analysis of pulmonary anatomy and physiology. This system includes tools for lung, airway, lung lobe segmentation, parenchymal tissue characterization, regional ventilation, and regional perfusion.
